at work, covering the risks and examining the controls available. |
Course Content: |
- Responsibilities imposed by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations,

- Manual handling injuries - causes and prevention, process of manual handling in the workplace,
|
- Assessment and control options.

Successful candidates receive the Manual Handling Certificate awarded by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
| Successful candidates receive the Chartered Institute of
Environmental Health's Basic Health & Safety Certificate. A Health & Safety Handbook will
be issued to course participants. |
